Whilst looking out of the window at the London drizzle this week, I’ve been dreaming about warmer weather, and of setting my feet free to feel sun-rays and a gentle sea breeze.

The SS14 La Paire look-book captures the designer Amy La’s Moroccan inspiration beautifully, and has only fuelled my day-dreaming antics.

La Paire offers a mid-priced range of flat and low wedge sandals and pumps, all handmade in Spain from soft leathers and suedes.

The collection is centred on three equally compelling sandal styles, each available in a variety of shades and textures.

The cover features Viola: an ankle strap sandal with prettily delicate scalloping on the front strap, and it comes in two more colours.

ViolaIt looks fabulous on the foot as well.

I love the glimpses of La’s Iznik tiling inspiration in the look-book photography.

The Rose style is “an ode to the traditional Grecian sandal”. The plain colours with gold accent straps create an elegant lux feel, perfect for St Tropez (or Brighton on that rare sunny day).

The third floral-named sandal is the Lily, with its exotic snakeskin-print leather sections. There’s something very flattering about that V created by the gold straps over the foot.

Now, do we need to beg Ms La Paire to let us buy her beautiful SS14 sandals before they launch in March?
